Ridgeline (bike-frame-bag.com) is operated and published by Animouf LLC, Wyoming, USA. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to take your order, ship your bag and answer your questions. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
We collect only what an order requires: your name, email, shipping address and a payment confirmation from Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers — Stripe handles payment directly. We do not sell your data, and you can ask us to access or delete it any time at [email protected].

What data we collect
When you place an order for the Ridgeline Trail frame bag, the Ridgeline Pilot top tube bag or the Complete Kit, we collect the details needed to fulfill it:
- Order details — the products you bought, quantity, color choice and order total.
- Contact information — your name and email address, so we can confirm the order and send tracking.
- Shipping address — the delivery address you enter at checkout.
- Payment confirmation — a receipt token from Stripe confirming the charge succeeded. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV or bank details.
- Messages you send us — if you email us, we keep that message and our reply so we can help and follow up.
We do not ask for, and do not want, any data beyond this. We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth or any special-category data.
Why we use it (purposes)
Each piece of data has a clear, limited purpose:

Payments — handled by Stripe
All payments run through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you check out, you enter your card details directly into Stripe's secure checkout — those details go to Stripe, not to us. Ridgeline never sees or stores your full card number. We only receive a confirmation that the payment cleared, plus the billing name and email tied to the order. Stripe processes this data under its own privacy policy at stripe.com.
Who we share data with
We are not in the business of selling data, and we never will. We share the minimum necessary with a small set of service providers so your order can happen:
- Stripe — to process your payment securely.
- Our shipping and fulfillment partners — to pack and deliver your bag (they receive your name and shipping address only).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — our host and privacy-first analytics provider.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, but that is the exception, not the routine.
How long we keep it (retention)
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet US tax and accounting obligations — typically several years, after which we delete or anonymize them. Support emails are kept only as long as useful to resolve the matter and reference future questions. If you ask us to delete your data and we have no legal duty to retain it, we will.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can exercise the following over the data we hold about you:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix anything inaccurate, such as a wrong shipping address.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data, subject to records we must keep by law.
- Objection — tell us to stop a particular use of your data.
- No sale of data — we do not sell or "share" your personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
To exercise any right, just email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and never charge you for a straightforward request.
Cookies & analytics
Ridgeline runs lean. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first: it does not use cookies and does not track or fingerprint individual visitors. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies on this site. Your browser may still store strictly functional data needed for checkout to work, but nothing that follows you around the web.
Do you use tracking pixels or retargeting?
No. We do not place Facebook, Google or other advertising pixels on bike-frame-bag.com, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visit.
Data security
Payment data is protected by Stripe's PCI-DSS infrastructure, and the site is served over HTTPS through Cloudflare. We limit internal access to order data to what is needed to fulfill and support your purchase. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep our footprint small on purpose — the less we store, the less there is to protect.
Children
This is a store for cycling gear aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
International shipping
We ship to the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. If you order from outside the US, your order data is processed in the US by Animouf LLC and its providers to deliver your bag. By ordering, you understand your data is handled as described here.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
